Homemade Soup Recipes - The Ultimate Comfort Food!
It really is! That's why I decided to make a site about homemade soup recipes. Once you get the hang of it soups are so easy to make. Also, even if you don't follow the recipe "exactly", you will still end up with something really tasty!
Are these easy soup recipes?
The recipes I have included in this site are complete and easy to follow, and will result in great-tasting soup every time. In some cases I have made links to other pages within this site for instructions that are common. Rather than repeat these instructions I have simply made one page and will link to it when required.
How can I find the recipe I want?
The soup recipes have been put into categories: Clear, Creamy, Starchy, and Chilled. The first three categories refer to the
broth, or liquid. If the broth is clear, that's where you'll find the recipe. The difference between creamy and starchy is
based on what makes the broth thick. If it is a cream sauce, then that's where you'll find it. If the main ingredient has
been pureed, then it is a starchy soup. And if you really aren't sure (and sometimes I wasn't!) you can look for the recipe
on the Complete Listing page.
Can I print these recipes?
Feel free to print these homemade soup recipes, and any other instructions. This will make it easier to follow the recipe, especially if you don't have a computer in your kitchen ;) You also won't have to flip back and forth between links if I have linked to a different page for further instructions. Just print those out too!

Can't find the homemade soup recipe you want? Use the Contact Me page to send me a query and I will do my best to find what you need. This is my passion, and looking for homemade soup recipes that really work is one of my greatest joys in life. Just understand that I cannot always answer right away. I usually prefer to try out the soups before posting them, at least once. That way I can give you the best and easiest instructions.
Do I have the right equipment?
If you aren't sure if you have the "right" soup-making equipment, check out my Equipment page. I have listed not only the basic requirements, but some of the nice-to-have items as well. Don't worry if you don't have a lot of stuff, though. Almost every kitchen has everything you need to make most homemade soup recipes, and I am sure yours will be the same!

Knowing the few basic elements will give you the freedom to experiment and create your own tasty soups. Also, this knowledge can help you tweak the recipes on this site to your own preferences.

If I decide to post them, I will keep the recipes the same but I may add my own "editorial" notes based on my own preferences.
